The legal contract between intended parents and the surrogate defining rights, responsibilities, compensation, medical decisions, and parentage.<\/span><\/p>

FET (Frozen Embryo Transfer)<\/b><\/h3>

Transfer of a previously frozen embryo into the surrogate\u2019s uterus.<\/span><\/p>

G<\/b><\/h1>

Gestational Carrier (GC)<\/b><\/h3>

A surrogate who carries a baby created using the intended parents\u2019 or donors\u2019 embryos. She has <\/span>no genetic link<\/b> to the child.<\/span><\/p>

Gestational Surrogacy<\/b><\/h3>

The modern standard for surrogacy. Embryos are created through IVF and transferred to a gestational carrier with <\/span>no biological connection<\/b> to the child.<\/span><\/p>

Intended Parents (IPs)<\/b><\/h3>

Individuals or couples who will become the legal parents of the child born through surrogacy.<\/span><\/p>

IVF (In Vitro Fertilisation)<\/b><\/h3>

A process where eggs are fertilised by sperm in a laboratory to create embryos for transfer.<\/span><\/p>

IUI (Intrauterine Insemination)<\/b><\/h3>
